Enel Green Power
Chris Petrola is the Director of Maintenance and Technical Services for Enel Green Power North America. He has been in the renewable energy industry since 2009 and in the power generation industry since 2004. At Enel Green Power, Chris leads an organization that is responsible for the engineering, technical support, and maintenance planning for the Enel Green Power North American operating fleet of wind energy assets.
Prior to coming to Enel Green Power, Chris was the Manager of Electrical Engineering for Acciona Energy North America and previous to that an Electrical Engineer with American Electric Power (AEP).
Chris is also the acting chairman of the American Clean Power (ACP) Balance of Plant (BoP) Working Group. The working group is dedicated to optimizing the renewable energy industry performance on all of the components and systems in a renewable energy power plant that is part of the collection, transformation, and transmission of energy.
Chris has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio.
