My Environmental Health and Safety career started in the Navy Nuclear Power program. From there moved into radiation protection and radioactive material control for Duke Energy. After 12 years in the field moved to focus on corporate environmental programs and special waste disposal. To expand my knowledge and experience i starting providing EHS support for Duke Energy's Transmission and Distribution section. In 2006 moved into wind, developing the EHS program for the Duke Energy wind fleet that was just getting started. At that point I join AWEA and became a very active member. In 2011 I was offered a position with NextEra Energy, which was the largest wind energy company in the US. There I lead the US and Canada Wind EHS program. In 2016 moved to GE/Field Core where I was responsible for EHS support for all the active GE wind projects. For the last 3 years I have been managing the Leeward Renewable Energy EHS program.
